Gone to RANGITOTO ISLAND!!!!!

First we went on the Ferry to Auckland City from Half-Moon Bay. On the way to the city we saw someone paddling on  the water trying to get away from the waves that the boat were making!

Next we caught the Ferry to Devon port cause it was before Rangitoto and that was the type of boat that went there.

We sore most of  the waves splashing on each other behind the boat!

After that we went to Rangitoto.

Once we were on the Island we went exploring through Rangitoto.

We went on the dried larva that looked very much like huge stones well rocks.  We had to be carful cause you could break your ankle i nearly did!

We all kept seeing cool baby birds and big birds and beautiful plants and trees. We also got to sit down and eat some good food with refreshing nice water. That was good.

Then we followed all the paths to see and touch cool things. When we kept on following the paths to the top of the old cool volcano Rangitoto. We saw the deep hole called a crater it was  were all the Larva came out it was coved  in trees but still amazing!!!!!

Then we went up the big stairs higher and higher then we finally made it. It took about 5 mins to go up those stairs thats how big they were! Then when we were on  our way down we saw some little cave witch was very dark but we went in it anyway cause were not scardy cats!

That trip was painful even though for some reason I wanted to do it again!

On Tuesday we did a play called The Ducks Dip Out. for  the play  we dressed up as ducks, swans and picnicers. Max Hayley Conner and Benji were the ducks. I max was father duck and Hayley was mother duck.

Jaden was Jak Kayla was Mum Luke was Zac. First we practiced the play. Second we did it outside.It was alot of work but we got there in the end. Third then we did the intro of who we were in the play. Then we got a massive clap from the class.

My Zinger Pinger wins an award by Natan

Dear Diary

Today my Zinger Pinger is going to compete in a competition. I am excited and a bit nervous at the same time.

When we got there all the other Zinger Pingers were getting ready.

The first race was we had to run to the finish line.
"Ready, set, go!" said the referee and the Zinger Pingers ran as fast as lightening. For no reason, the second place Zinger Pinger threw a rock at my Zinger Pinger and he tied with another Zinger Pinger. That meant they both got 3 points. My Zinger Pinger came out horrified but I was happy.
"You tried your best," I said.
"No I did not try my best, said my Zinger Pinger.

The next race was who could balance the longest on a platform.
"Ready, set, go!" said the referee for the last time.
"Come on, you can do it," I said with butterflies in my tummy. There were two more Zinger Pingers. Then one fell off and my Zinger Pinger won. I was so proud of my Zinger Pinger.

My Zinger Pinger got a medal and I got a big trophy.
